|The Supreme Court Rejected the Petitions to the Government's Decision on Israel’s Gas Sector and Export Policy|
Tel Aviv, Tuesday October 22, 2013. The supreme court in Israel rejected the petitions, filed by the Academic Law and Business Center and other petitioners ("the Petitions"), concerning the decision taken by the Israeli government which was adopted on June 23, 2103, following the Zemach Committee recommendations. The Petitions which included, inter alia, a request to revoke the government's decision and called for an absolute anchoring of the regulation of the Natural Gas Policy through Government legislation; Delek Group gas partnerships are pleased to announce that following on from a discussion held on October 20, 2013 at the Supreme Court in a panel of seven judges, the Supreme Court decided on October 21, 2103 in a majority, to reject the petitions.
